Tim Geddings

Career & Industry Leadership

With over 40 years of experience in beverage systems and distribution, Tim has worked across every functional area of the Pepsi manufacturing and DSD ecosystem—from plant floor systems and PLC programming to enterprise architecture and network infrastructure.

In the 1980s, he founded Computer Solutions, designing and developing software systems for major national brands including Pepsi, Coca-Cola, Anheuser-Busch, Miller, and Krispy Kreme. During this period, he co-wrote specifications for the original DEX serial communication standard, which became foundational to beverage distribution data exchange systems.

Tim also developed and copyrighted proprietary sales prediction algorithms in the late 1990s to enhance route forecasting and distribution optimization.

He later founded SouthTech, delivering last-mile wireless internet connectivity across the Southeastern United States, and owned multiple ComputerLand franchises before exiting these ventures in the early 2000s to focus on long-term strategic leadership at Carolina Canners.
